Overview
Planting population is the recommended rate for optimal performance of the hybrid. These ranges are matched to the recommended soil type of the hybrid (found in the Product Positioning section for each iCORN hybrid).
Population ranges take into account the hybrid's ear flex characteristic and the effect of increasing or decreasing density (population) on plant growth, stress and yield.
These recommended planting population figures are a combination of visual observations and yield analyses at varying populations and soil types.
