"Agriculture has always been an important part of my life, which is why I'm so excited about being part of iCORN. I grew up on a grain farm in Indiana, and graduated with a B.S. in agricultural economics from Purdue University.
After graduation I worked in the agricultural chemical industry 4 years, and then joined in partnership with Noel and Jo Callahan. With two other partners, we formed a business that became known as Callahan Seeds.
In my years with Callahan Seeds as an owner I was directly involved in most aspects of the business, including research, field trials, production, distribution, sales, marketing and overall company management. I've served as president of the Indiana Seed Trade Association, was on the Indiana Crop Improvement board of directors, and continue to serve on various American Seed Trade committees.
At iCORN, I lead our team and have overall responsibility for our marketing effort. Our goal in communicating with you is to keep things straight forward and easy to understand. If you are a customer or "just looking", I am hopeful that you will find our approach to be helpful as you make your seed decisions.
