In-Season Rain Delays
Rain delays during planting are sometimes inevitable. In the event of this occurring, we will be updating and advising our customers on the latest reasonable date to plant their original hybrid choice. If rain delays persist into the planting season, iCORN will pick-up and exchange the original hybrid with an earlier maturing hybrid. Depending on availability, our primary objective would be to still match a hybrid to fit the soil and agronomic needs of our customer. If the wet weather continues and you decide to switch to iCORN soybeans, your account will not be charged the seed corn restocking fee.
There would be no charge for the exchange hybrids unless a conventional hybrid is being replaced with a technology hybrid where a royalty is involved. The value of the chosen technology would have to be charged to the customer.
